A Lakewood family was displaced today after a vehicle crashed into their home.

The homeowners came home this afternoon to find the damage, but the vehicle had fled prior to their arrival.

Police and Inspection Department responded and deemed the home structurally unsafe.

The Red Cross was called in to assist with finding the family a place to stay.
