Hey all! Mordy Holder here, happy to inform you that on Sunday March 21st 2021, the Lakewood Township Public Works will be hosting the Ocean County Hazardous Waste Disposal Program at 1 America Ave.

The event will take place from 9am to 3pm. What you need to know: registration is required, you can register by going online at co.ocean.nj.us/recycle, you can call 732-506-5047 or scan the QR code in the flyer. You will also need proof of address, a valid ID or a bill will do.

Due to the ongoing pandemic, a few safety precautions will be in place to ensure as little contact as possible.

Masks must be worn by everyone in the vehicle at all times.

All materials for disposal should be placed at the rear of the vehicle.

Please do not get out of your vehicle, even if it’s to assist us. We have trained technicians to handle the removal and disposal of said waste. If you have any further questions, feel free to call us at 732-905-3405.
