Lakewood DPW employee Danny Washington has passed away.

“It is with great sadness that we inform you of the passing of our DPW employee, Danny Washington,” said the DPW.

Danny passed away on Sunday, June 2^nd, surrounded by his family.

“Danny always had a smile on his face and lived his life to the fullest,” the DPW said in a statement. “He will be sadly missed. Our thoughts and prayers go out to Danny’s family at this difficult time.”

Danny was a valued member of The Township’s DPW since June of 2015.

Deputy Mayor Menashe Miller stated, “Our thoughts are with the family of Danny Washington during this time. Danny’s radiant smile and positive work ethic will live on as his legacy among his peers and colleagues at Public Works.”
