A series of road paving and infrastructure improvement projects were completed in Lakewood over the past several weeks.
Crews used the Rosh Hashana, Yom Kippur, and Sukkos period—when traffic is typically lighter—to complete extensive work with minimal disruption to motorists. The projects were coordinated by the Lakewood Township Committee, Engineering Manager Tony Poklasny, Senior Engineer Justin Meyer, and other officials.
Completed projects since mid-September include:

Thanks to the township,the newly paved roads are great to drive on.
I am sorry to say, but I live in the Arlington area and they were doing nonstop work on the roads and for some reason from the first day of Yom Tov they did not touch the road and as soon as Yom Tov was over, they restarted. I don’t know why in the world they couldn’t do it over Yom Tov when no one was driving on the road. They literally caused havoc all day with their closures and work
