Just days ago, Hurricane Irma blew viciously through Florida. Today, shattered residents have begun attempting to put their lives back together.
For the elderly and infirm, the disaster is even more devastating – and potentially life-threatening. Those who rely on medical equipment and devices powered by electricity are in danger of death even now that the storm has ended.
To assist those affected by Irma, Chaveirim of Lakewood is dispatching generators and portable air conditioners to storm-ravaged areas, enabling them to resume piecing together their homes and lives.
