With today’s blizzard hitting Lakewood and virtually shutting down the town, at the request of the OEM, Lakewood CERT members have been activated and are presently out assisting the emergency responders in keeping residents out of harm’s way.

Lakewood CERT Coordinators would like to remind the public that tomorrow Friday, Jan 5, 2018, 1pm is the deadline to join the next round of CERT Training, a six week, once a week night course that trains laymen to backup and assist emergency responders during a crisis.
