Lakewood business owners: Shopping center trash bins are private property

Lakewood store owners today reached out to TLS asking that residents be made aware that dumpsters behind their shops are private property and should not be used to dump trash.

“The store owners pay for them, so please don’t bring your garbage to us causing our dumpsters to overflow and needing an extra pick up – thus costing us money,” a business owner said.

The Pesach drop-off sites will be opening tomorrow, Wednesday.

  1. Same goes to the dumpsters at construction sites, where people are forever dumping their garbage and woods. I recently had that someone dropped off a dining room table and chairs. These dumpsters cost money and its stealing.
