Why would anyone want to work at a job with no job security. The lakewood boe goes through the yearly layoffs game …
Decent salary. Pension. Benefits.
Try getting any of that in a frum school. You can barely feed your family on a yeshiva salary. Let alone tuition and bills.
Even to make the extra $ for a year is worth it.
