  1. Since obviously this is not an activity suitable for all, it should be required to have an approval from the rebbe & menahel for the boy to attend. And if permission is not granted, the rebbe should make sure the talmid understands why.

  2. Not suitable for all???????
I feel for u & ur family if that’s how u feel. BasketBall IS suitable for all! Short/tall, fat/skinny, Modern/Yeshivish, Young and old. If u were serious, & really feel that BB is something that s/o needs to ask a rebbe if he should play or not, u really need serious help. No joke. Do u ask ur rebbe when to use the bathroom? or when to breath?? Sports is the #1 kosher and healthy outlet for all children in this generation. No if, and or buts. Period. Wake up & realize the Dur we live in.

  3. #3 & #4 – u r right. Obviously it is for u & ur kids. There are many kids whose parents don’t want this for their children.
If sports is the #1 kosher healthy outlet for all children of this generation, how come there are no school-sponsored sports activities & a league made up of teams from each school ?

  4. u r the cause people go off the derech and u should be ashamed of yourself! you make a bad name for yourself and you are hurting this guys parnassa!

  7. I personally know the person who runs the gym & hired the coach…There both very erlich & trusted people who run an excellent program. The coach has much experience coaching in camps & has run many successful sports programs.

  8. Ive had countless talks with my rabbiem over the yrs & they all agreed with me that sports & especially playing sports is the best outlet a person could have

  9. I do not understand what number 1 is trying to accomplish. Does it say anywhere in the post that each and every yochid is REQUIRED to send their children there?? It is merely giving info. Number 1 should be banned.
