what about the trans fat in the popcorn? no reward for that!
they switched the ingredients from transfat margirine to the healthy palm oil. they deserve a reward for that alone. people are getting more health minded and appreciate when companies spend the extra few dollars for the healthier saturated fat like palm oil, rather than the killer margirine (partially hydrogenated oils)
rabbi schwinder you always come through.
also mrs schwinder deserves lot of credit she puts in lot of kochos that yiddishe kids should have healthy snacks
i met mr schwinder almost 25 yrs ago and he is still as nice now as he was then, it is always nice to see when a good person does well in business and does not change from being a down to earth person. i use to pop into the original store on second street once in a while when i was just a small kernal.
Quality is the big emphasis! But, even moreso, it has provided so many job opportunities in Lakewood; not to mention the Camp Tours of the onsite production of the fresh delicious Golden Fluff Popcorn!!!
Rabboisai, You must try the Golden Fluff Flutes. They come in a few flavors but original is the best.
I can’t stop eating them and now that I hear that they switched to palm oil, it’s nisht kein kasheh why i can’t stop. They’re mamesh fest and belong at every shabbos party and in every snack bag.
