Lakewood Bachur struck by drunk driver fleeing from police

A Lakewood Bachur was injured after being struck by an alleged drunk driver being chased by police, sources tell TLS. 

The Bachur was reportedly standing outside the Springfield Yeshivah this afternoon when the alleged drunk driver fleeing from police jumped the curb, striking the Bachur before striking a pole.

The Bachur was transported to Robert Wood Johnson Hospital with non life-threatening injuries.

The driver was apprehended by police moments after the crash.
