A Lakewood Bachur is lucky to be alive after an ATV accident this afternoon.
Several Bachurim were ATVing in the area when one of them went down a ditch, going airborne and flipping over. The approximately-800-pound ATV reportedly rolled over him.
The Bachur was transported by Hatzolah to JSUMC.
TLS spoke with the patient who says he went through multiple X-rays and testing, which all showed he didn’t break any bones.
“I’m lucky to be alive – thank you Hashem,” he said.

I know someone, that went to jersey shore, after being hit by a car and was also told no broken bones but, after being in lots of pain and seeing other doctors there were fractures that required extensive surgery. so please take care of yourself!
May the Almighty help you and make sure that you are really ok.
Chasdei Hashem this bachur is ok.
Last year the other bachur wasn’t so lucky.
I know many bachurim that were injured while ATVing.
Can bachurim stop renting ATV’s? Maybe it’s just not worth it?
To Lakewood mom: Why would you want to take away an activity like ATV riding from the bacureem if it’s something they enjoy. The solution is to ride more carefully & ask Bore’ Olam for His protection, right, Lakewood mom? Not to worry though, all will be well.
