Lakewood Among 4 Townships to Receive Disaster Utility Trailer From NJ OEM

oem njLakewood and three other Townships with CERT Teams will be receiving a Disaster Utility Trailer from the NJ Office of Emergency Management, the OEM announced today.

Over $30,000 worth of equipment allocated to four NJ communities and NJ State Police Missing Persons Unit will be awarded during an event at NJ State Police Division Headquarters in West Trenton tomorrow.

The Townships receiving the equipment are West Orange Township – Essex County, Lakewood Township – Ocean County, Aberdeen ownship/Matawan Borough (joint team) – Monmouth County, and Little Ferry Borough – Bergen County.

The New Jersey State Police Missing Persons Unit is also receiving a specially-equipped trailer to support child abduction and missing person searches and investigations. [TLS]

  1. Thanx you Kenny Dix for leading and training the many qualified CERT volunteers in Lakewood.

    This is great news. This trailer will enable the CERT team to work more efficiently due to additional resources.

    Thanx to all the chaveriem, lcsw, and bikur cholim volunteers that are CERT certified.

    Hopefully we will only need your services for good things.
