Lake Overflows – Area Residents Dealing With Severe Flooding , Some Being Evacuated

VIDEO: As earlier reported, the area of South Lake Drive is completely flooded due to the Lake overflowing as a result of the strong rains. Residents from the area are being evacuated from their homes by Police, due to their homes being flooded. Multiple police officers are also attempting to clear pedestrians from the area as hundreds have come to the Lake to watch the waters rise.

Did they drain the lake before the storm hit.? It has been done many times before major storms.

They actually DID drain the lake before the storm, just not enough apparently. This is a historic overflow! Even worse than in 2005! This is a ONE DAY rainfall that proved to be catastrophic.

Yes, #1, the lake was definitely drained before the storm. But the rain was too much even with the draining.
