This year Im in America for לג בעומר,but for the 3 years before I was זוכה to be in מירון and in ירושלים,and in the ארץ הקודש people from all walks of Judaism celebrate לג בעומר

Maybe in Lakewood only Chassidim celebrate Lag Ba’omer, in the rest of the world all Jews do!!!

+1 TO #4 a little varimkeit won’t kill anyone. our children can be taught of happy and uplifting parts to yiddishkeit also for a change. Nothing wrong with some “chiyus” in life especially in times like these, most of the troubles in life (internet etc.) can be remedied by filling our children’s hearts with true yiddisha simcha so that they won’t turn to other thing chas v’shalom to fill this void.

Yeshiva K’tana has a beautiful bonfire that my boys look forward to every year!
