Most of us know Kollel Ohr Shmuel as the organization that has ignited thousands of men throughout the Torah world to an early morning seder.
Founded in Lakewood al sheim Hayeled Shmuel Gellis z’l, the organization has branches as far out as London, Israel, Manchester, Georgia, a forthcoming location in Detroit and many more with participants joining daily.
The unique aspect about Kollel Ohr Shmuel is not just that men are getting up to learn, but literally dancing out of bed with enthusiasm and joy somewhere in the 6 a.m. hour.
The famed Volozhiner Yeshiva is known to have held sidrei limud 24 hours a day to embody the concept that Torah learning is what sustains the world. Some may recall that during Covid, the kollel undertook a 24-hour learning seder as a special zechus for refuos and yeshuos.
Sadly, the need for a yeshua is once again upon us.
In light of the tragic war in Eretz Yisroel, the Kollel has once again undertaken this special round-the-clock limud and just completed a stunning 48-hours of non-stop Torah study.
The goal is to continue this study until Friday.
Those wishing to take part in this zechus, or in the Kollel Ohr Shmuel program in general are invited to call, text or whatsapp 347 524 8681.
