By D.K. It’s been another sucssesful zman at Kollel Lev Avos. The zman concluded with a lavish Siyum on Meschtas Megillah, where Yungerliet along with Balei Batim completed the meschtah- learning it in depth with Gemora Rashi & Tosfos.
“Its a great feelling to finish the Zman with the kinyan of a mesechtah”, says Ari- member of the kollel.
Kolell Lev avos was founded by Balei Batim who realized how important and essential it is to end a long day of work with learning.
“Its refreshing and invigorating to come to a beautifull bais medrash with ample parking, seating , coffee seforim etc.- just ready to throw yourself into the yam hatalmud and forget about all worldly matters for an hour or so, says Dov, another proud member at KLA.
“My whole day is different, thanks to KLA. In the beginningĀ I was a bit skeptical, going back to kollel without my chevra – but after a conversation with the rosh kollel R’ Binyomin Schonbrun, I was convinced this place was for me, says another satisfied member. “His warmth and understanding to each individual is amazing – not to mention the Thursday Chaburos, where a topic from the weeks learning is discussed in depth by the rosh chaburah along with with pilpulei chaveirim which creates a beautifull Rischa D’orayssah”, says another happy member.
Now, in the days of Sefirah, when we are all preparing for Kabolas hatorah, come and join today, be koneh a Miktzoah and ultimately be Konah your Daled Amos Shel Halacha, here at KLA.
KLA is located in the beautiful Lev Avos Bais Hamedrash (Under the leadership of Rabbi Grossman Shlita), at the corner of Oak Knoll & Iris St, (14th St Area). The Kollel commences daily at 5:30 PM, ending at 6:45, followed by Mincha (and Maariv in the winter).
For more information please call R’ Binyomin Schonbrun at (848)-525-5415.
