snapple fruit punchKASHRUS ALERT: The following has been released by the OK: Please be advised that the 24 pack – 20 oz plastic bottles of SNAPPLE made by Snapple Beverage Corporation has been incorrectly labeled OK Pareve. Each 24 pack contains 3 flavors: Mango Madness and Kiwi Strawberry are kosher, OK certified and have the OK symbol on the label. Fruit Punch is not certified and NOT KOSHER. Labels are being corrected. The product may be returned to the store for a refund.

  1. Whats not kosher about the fruit punch flavor? I’m very curious what Snapple could have possibly put in the fruit punch flavor that is not Kosher.

  2. INGREDIENTS:
    Water, high fructose corn syrup, grape juice from concentrate, natural lemon, apple, pineapple and passion fruit flavors with other natural flavors, citric acid, carob bean gum, xanthan gum, pectin.

    I can’t say for sure but I would assume it’s the Grape Juice that caused it.

  4. I cannot understand why the OK would allokosher and non kosher to be packaged together. I’ve seen many jews in bj’s buying the package. Its not right.
