On a mission to increase private school funding in our community, United Education for New Jersey (UENJ) is hard at work gathering voters from across New Jersey. With the deadline for voter registration tomorrow, it is crucial that everyone aged 18 and older takes action to ensure our voices are heard.
While the mission may seem daunting, the dedication and enthusiasm of UENJ’s members are unwavering. UENJ is more than just a group; it’s a movement that’s gaining unstoppable momentum. It’s about empowering our community to take control of the financial burden that tuition costs place on our families.
“The response has been nothing short of phenomenal. Thousands of community members are rallying to be part of this transformative movement,” Daniel Mitzner, a dedicated member of UENJ, shares. “This groundswell of support is not just a sign of our unity; it’s a resounding testament to the urgent need for tuition relief that so many of our families are hoping for.”
At the heart of this grassroots initiative is a simple yet powerful goal: to unlock more funding for private schools in our region. The aim is to follow in the footsteps of successful groups in states like Florida and Philadelphia, where they’ve secured scholarships that provide substantial tuition relief for families.
“We’re not just talking about a few dollars,” Katie Katz, a UENJ member explains. “We’re talking about thousands of dollars per child, per year. That’s life-changing for all of us.”
With the backing of Gedolim, Rabbanim, and Roshei Yeshiva, UENJ is mobilizing efforts to encourage the frum community throughout New Jersey to register to vote, offering an opportunity for meaningful change.
“We have at least 70,000 eligible voters in our community,” Gershy Kesirer, another advocate of UENJ, emphasizes. “If everyone makes an effort to vote, we will become an unignorable voice.”
For many, the burden of tuition can seem insurmountable. But UENJ is proving that with unity and concerted effort, real change is possible.
Don’t let this opportunity pass.
