JUST IN: Suspect in Custody after Threatening Neighbor in Lakewood with Machete

As first reported on TLS Status, a suspect is in custody this afternoon after allegedly threatening his neighbor with a machete, officials told TLS.

Sources tell TLS police received a call from a Rt. 88 area resident who was reportedly hiding in his home after his neighbor made entry to his home, armed with a machete.

Police swarmed the area and located the suspect with the machete, and took him into custody.

The incident is under investigation.
