BREAKING: Serious accident involving two school buses and two cars on Rt. 9 in Howell [CHOPPER VIDEO & PHOTOS]

Emergency personnel are on scene of a serious accident involving two school buses and two cars on Rt. 9 in Howell.

The accident happened around 8:45 AM on Rt 9 Southbound south of New Friendship Road.

There were no children on board the buses, police say, and two people were hospitalized.

Traffic is being diverted.

Avoid the area.
