Plans for a rally in Lakewood are in the works to protest the underfunding of the Lakewood school district, TLS has learned.
A Board official tells TLS the Board President Barry Iann has met with representatives from the Jewish, Hispanic and African American communities throughout Lakewood in an effort to unite all of Lakewood in rallying for additional funding for the district.
The rally is expected to take place later this month at a location to be announced at a later time.
