A person was allegedly slashed with a knife in Lakewood this afternoon, TLS has learned.
The incident happened in the Kennedy Boulevard area around 6:30 PM, when two men approached a pedestrian and allegedly slashed the victim across the face. They then fled the area.
Lakewood EMS is treating the victim.
Anyone with information is asked to call the Lakewood Police Department.
I thought this can only happen in NYC…

I was wondering maybe if we all try to perfect the Mitzva of not hurting the feelings of another person and not causing another person any type of embarrassment even minor and obviously part of this Mitzva is not to speed on a residential road (25 mph) because maybe a young child will suddenly enter the street from between the cars and you won’t be able to stop in time. Maybe in the merit of perfecting this Mitzva, we will be Zoche as a community and Hashem will protect Lakewood and the surrounding area from criminals like in this story .
