JUST IN: NY Mask Mandated Lifted

New York Governor Kathy Hochul moments ago announced the State will lift its indoor mask mandates.

“We are not where we were in early December. New Yorkers did the right thing to get through the winter surge, and we can now lift the statewide mask-or-vaccine requirement for indoor businesses starting tomorrow,” the Governor wrote.

“Counties, cities and businesses can still choose to require masks.”

  1. Cuomo distraction. What good is this if local jurisdictions don’t have to adhere. She’s passing the buck so she doesn’t wind up in the same place Cuomo is or is headed to. Politics at work. I heard it gets pretty hot down there.
