JUST IN: Multiple injured in head-on collision in Lakewood [PHOTOS]

Multiple people were hospitalized after a head-on collision in Lakewood this evening.

The accident happened shortly after 11:00 PM at the intersection of New Hampshire Ave. and Towers Street.

A total of five patients were hospitalized, some with serious injuries.

The Lakewood police department’s traffic safety division is investigating.

New Hampshire Ave. is shut in both directions between Pine Street and Route 70.

Please fellow residents. Pay attention to your surroundings when driving. This is a privilege given to us upon completion of required assessments. Vehicles are machines. Remember the driver is in control of the passengers and themselves as well as others on the road. PAY ATTENTION!!!!!! it’s not difficult.
