JUST IN: LSTA cancels all busing today due to blizzard

LSTA busing in Lakewood has Just been cancelled for today, Thursday.

“As per the call with LPD Traffic and Safety and Township, there will be no LSTA busing today due to continued snow fall and viability issues,” Rabbi Avraham Krawiec of the LSTA told TLS.

Please call your school’s hotline line for any information regarding your child’s school.

As earlier reported, the Lakewoood School District has cancelled all public schools.

  1. If it’s not safe to drive for buses shouldnt it be no school altogether ??
Don’t see why is it any safer for thousands of cars on slippery roads bringing kids to school ..

  2. I wish the yeshiva’s and schools would send info into the Lakewood scoop as a central place to check on closings etc. My kids yeshiva snow-hotline is never updated. . . Scoop- Can this be arranged? Maybe a new post for list of closings etc?

  3. Even if busing is cancelled you should still call your school to see if it’s open because many schools have a policy- it’s called, “What is everyone else doing!”
