JUST IN: Jeremy Kuipers Named As Acting Construction Official For Lakewood Township

Jeremy Kuipers, who currently is the electric subcode inspector for Lakewood Township, will be replacing Mike Saccomanno as the Acting Construction Official for the Lakewood Township, TLS has learned.

The township was hoping to hire someone from within the inspections department to replace Saccomanno, who passed away suddenly earlier this month, as a current employee would have a much better understanding of Township operations.

To be a Director of Code Enforcement in New Jersey, also known as a Construction Official, a person must also be licensed by the state, as well as possession of a Subcode Official license and successful completion of an educational program.

Additionally, TLS has learned, that Janelle Witham has been named as the Acting Department Head, and Terry Guadlip has been named as the Acting Building Subcode Official.

    • Zishe, unlike Mr. Kuipers, who you’ve honored with sincere praise, I have never once in my lifetime received an honorable mentchen. It disturbs me to no ends. But I try to take it in stride, and to be a real mentch about it to best of my ability.

      • Feel your pain , the world just floats by in magnificent yachts while I row furiously in my rowboat . No recognition no compliments, not even a wave and a hello .It might have to to do with our achievements in life, possibly our lack of education (btw it’s mention not mentchen… Just saying…)

        • Or it might be that they can’t see us on our rowboats because the yachts are obstructing their view, otherwise they would wave and say ‘hello’ to us – which, in essence, might be what you’re saying about lower levels of achievements and education, as opposed to higher levels.
Nevertheless, I always try to set out to sea early before the yachts get there, so my boat can be seen. Problem is, no one is up that hour, except for the fish – and they’re just looking for the worms.
And I might be just the worm they’re looking for. Oye!
