JUST IN: Fire breaks out at 1700 Madison Ave Plaza; Shops evacuated [PHOTOS]

A fire broke out at the 1700 Madison Plaza this afternoon, forcing evacuations.

The fire broke out shortly before 3:00 PM on a northern building. The fire was extinguished minutes later.

No injuries were reported.

Several shops have been evacuated.

The cause of the fire is being investigated.
