If Trump believes that this is a true national security issue, it would be completely treasonous for him not to rewrite this EO in a way that it won’t be stayed.
If he won’t, it would mean that not losing is more important to him than the security of this nation.

@Truth Seeker. Trump’s ego is more important to him than national security. I really am worried that Trump will let a terrorist harm our nation just to prove he was correct. I never would have thought that about other presidents before — but with Trump, I am afraid.
There is no constitutional protection for a person before he or she is admitted into the US. The only due process is what Congress says it is. The Court said this when the wife of a US citizen was barred entry on security grounds. US ex real Knauff (1950)
The Court also upheld the detention of a man on Ellis Island for years without hearing. He was barred entry on security grounds and his home country would not repatriate him.
