JUST IN: Evacuations underway due to gas leak in Lakewood (PHOTOS)

Multiple homes in Lakewood are being evacuated due to a gas leak.

The gas leak occurred shortly before 11 AM on Hawthorne Street, near the Lakewood/Jackson border.

The Lakewood Fire Department and Lakewood EMS and Lakewood First Aid are on scene.

Roads are being shut in the area as well.
