Source? It looked bad
65 mph speed zone means that most people are going about 70 mph–I remember the good old days when the speed limit on the Parkway was 55 mph, so if a guy was going 60-it’s not the end of the world. But 65 or 70 mph a terrible mistake.
You seem like a person who means well, but your comment could use some context.
If you’re ok with 60 in the 1960’s than you should be fine with 100 mph today. Cars are much more advanced.
The key point is this: Most accidents are caused by distracted driving. If you’re driving a car capable of going 120 mph, but you are limited by the liberals to 70, many people start checking their phones, shaving, eating etc.
How do you put this on liberals? (moderated) is wrong with you? People drive like MANIACS on the parkway and and all over NJ. Texting or flexing their “driving skills”. It’s not a conservative or liberal trait.
Driving at 65 or slightly > than 65 is perfectly fine, Avraham. If one needs to drive slower, that’s what the right hand lane is for or better yet, drive on secondary roads where with lower posted speed limits.
Someone (else) was traveling at a very high speed and sideswiped one of the cars, propelling it into the other.
Hi i was in the accident did you witness how it happened?
No it isn’t, Avraham. 65 to 70 isn’t a mistake at all, just stay to the right if you wish to drive at 55mph. Hodesh Tov & have a great week ahead!.
People should pay attention to the road not their PHONES
Lots of opinions, criticism, judgement…yet not one word or sentence praying that the individuals involved are not severely injured and can get home safely to their families.
Nesiya Tova,
Peace
Yes you are right.
May the Almighty help all the injured to get better very soon and return to their families.
