Congrssman Matt Gaetz announces moments ago he’s filing an ethics complaint against Speaker Pelosi for destroying President Trump’s State of the Union speech.
“Her conduct was beneath the dignity of the House, and a potential violation of law (18 USC 2071),” the Congressman wrote. “Nobody is above the law. She must be held accountable.”
Very funny.
However i think its obvious that these laws pertain only to documents or records that need keeping. Not a copy of the presidents address.
In fact, what he is doing is wrong, by misapplying laws deliberately.
In the real world, Nancy pelosi would be fired for creating a hostile work environment. Why is she exempt from this?

Why doesn’t it apply? The president ‘filed’ the SOTU with the Speaker of the House and she willfully tore it up. I think she should tape it back together.
