The Orthodox Union (OU) announced today that Josh Pruzansky, New Jersey Director of Political Affairs, will be a member of the delegation accompanying Governor Christie on his upcoming mission to Israel. “I am extremely honored to have been invited by the Governor and his staff to participate in this very important mission” said Mr. Pruzansky. “This is the Governor’s first foreign trip and as a proud Jew and citizen of New Jersey I am delighted that he has chosen Israel as his destination”.
“We are very excited that Josh was offered a spot in the delegation, it is a sign of the high esteem the leadership in Trenton has for his advocacy work” said Rabbi Steven Burg, Managing Director of the OU. “We are also grateful that the Governor has chosen the Jewish State for this momentous occasion. New Jersey has the second largest Jewish population in the US and his seeing firsthand the geopolitical realities in Israel will give him a better understanding of the concern his constituents have of the situation with Iran and its proxy States.”
The Governor will be exploring potential opportunities with companies interested in doing business in New Jersey as well as visiting with dignitaries and many of the historic and Religiously significant sites in Jerusalem, the eternal and indivisible capital of Israel. TLS.
