Jon Huntsman To Drop Out Of Presidential Race, To Endorse Romney

A senior official with Jon Huntsman’s campaign tells CNN that Huntsman will drop out of the presidential race tomorrow. In a recent TLS poll, about 4% said the former Utah Governor would get the GOP endorsement, while Mitt Romney, the clear frontrunner, got about 41% of the vote for the most viable GOP candidate to take on Obama.

With Huntsman out, only 5 Republicans remain in the race. Santorum came in second place.

Huntsman is expected to endorse Mitt Romney. TLS.

  1. Good bye Mr. Huntsman. Many Democrats were hoping that Huntsman would become the Republican nominee, so that he can hand Obama his re-election on a silver platter. Thank G-d that didn’t happen.
