Jewish Stuttering Association To Host Its First Lakewood Support Group

jsa logoThe Jewish Stuttering Association – a support group created for men who stutter – will be hosting its first Lakewood support group in Lakewood. The JSA was created a year ago by people in the Jewish community who stutter, with the help of many of today’s leading Speech Language Pathologists who specialize in Stuttering.

“As people who stutter, we felt alone in our daily struggle to speak”, says the founder. “We had no organization to turn to for support, advice, resources, education and programming. Yet we knew that there were many in the community who stutter”.

The first session will be taking place next Tuesday, January 25th from 6:30pm-8:00pm.

  1. Great stuff! there should be support groups for all challenges that we face. For example people who are suffering financially should have a group. As well as parents of at risk kids. There are so many issues that people are dealing with and have no place to turn. Aa Oa Sa Na, they all work wonders for people.
