JetBlue To Sell Remaining Seats For $10 Each Way

jetblueJetBlue is selling nearly all of its remaining seats on its Tuesday and Wednesday nonstop flights for $10 each way. The carrier says the sale – to help celebrate is 10th year of service – is good only for tickets booked today and applies only to “U.S. originating flights on May 11-12.” A quick check of the booking engine on JetBlue’s website showed $10 fares (plus taxes and fees) for routes like Washington Dulles-Long Beach and San Francisco-Boston. Connecting flights, such as a Seattle-New York flight via Long Beach, were selling for $20 each way (plus taxes and fees).

And, even though JetBlue says its sale applies only to U.S.-originating flight, a New York-Bogota round-trip (via Orlando) was pricing at $38 round-trip ($153.70 with taxes and fees) for a Tuesday-Wednesday itinerary.

However, there are some significant exceptions to the Tuesday-Wednesday sale. JetBlue says on its website that the following routes are exempt: Nantucket to New York JFK; Aruba to Boston; Bermuda to Boston; Hartford to Fort Lauderdale; Hartford to Orlando; Boston to Washington (DCA); Boston to Nassau; Boston to Oakland; Boston to Punta Cana; Boston to Santo Domingo; Boston to San Jose (Calif.); Boston to Sarasota; Boston to St. Maarten; Burlington, Vt., Fort Myers; Cancun to Washington Dulles; Washington (DCA) to Fort Lauderdale; Washington (DCA) to Orlando; New York JFK to Portland (Ore.); and New York JFK to St. Lucia.
