Last line of the article.
its an out for the women of the community, get away from the kids for a while , and have time for themselves
I think it should say in the heading that its a Tzedaka thing, other wise it don’t look good!
Lakwdr – ladies aren’t allowed to get out for enjoyment? the only way they can get out is for tzedaka? I think if it doesn’t say that it’s for tzedaka people are not going to come so quickly, but you shouldn’t be condemning women for doing something for themselves.
Seh pahst nisht! May as well call it the Womens Rights Cruise.
Oiy America has completely destroyed Klal Yisroel.
Women belong in the ‘Shtuub’, not in the ‘gahss’!
to # 8
keep scratching and get into the real world!!
your women are not your property, they are living breathing human beings !
I don’t know if out on the water is called a “Shtuub”
Even if it’s not for tzeddaka, I don’t see what’s so bad about a mini break to refresh body and soul, but, since some proceeds go for tzeddaka, it’s even better. (I wonder how much actually goes to tzeddaka though, the boat and the food have got to cost something – can we get a breakdown?)
I personally am not going but, I’m all for it, maybe next time….
It’s only ok to go on a boat if you’re headed to the internet asifa…
why does this need to be a philosophical debate? Do you want to go? enjoy. You dont want to go. Dont go and shut up.
A women should go with her husband on a boat ride but to make it women only dosent pass.
Is lipa gonne be there?
Is the 8:00 PM departure real time or Lakewood time? 🙂
Its not all going to tzedaka, its going to the boat and the food and the entertainment. Can’t you find a better way without spending so much money.
Are grown women still in camp, that they need a kumsets?
For helping people out of work, $75.00 is alot of money for the average person.
omigosh, people, lighten up! this isn’t a philosophical debate, this is a blog! what’re we supposed to do on a blog, write “wow, what a beautiful idea”?
that’s all we need now ,nuch ah Flottila!!
Who thought of this woman’s night out on fathers day brilliant
Boat doesn’t cost as much as you’d think (its not exactly a yacht…) and food and entertainment was sponsored (I was the entertainment at the men’s one 2 weeks ago)
