James R. Maida, president and chief executive officer of Gaming Laboratories International, LLC, has been unanimously elected chairman of the Monmouth Medical Counter, Southern Campus Foundation Board of Trustees.
Maida’s appointment is the first by the Foundation Board since the merger of Monmouth and Kimball Medical Center, which is now Monmouth Medical Center, Southern Campus.
“As the first chairman of the Monmouth Medical Center, Southern Campus Foundation Board, James will be instrumental in helping to usher in a new era for fundraising for Monmouth Medical Center, Southern Campus,” said Denice Gaffney, vice president of Monmouth Medical Center, Southern Campus Foundation. “In addition to engaging board members in the mission of the hospital, James will provide a fresh perspective that complements the changes that are happening during this pivotal time in the hospital and Foundation’s history.”
