Dear Fellow Jackson Private School Parents,
I just wanted to express my appreciation to the entire Jackson Board of Education Transportation Department for their hard work on behalf of our children.
This year, they realized it would be beneficial to our children and the township to work on providing busing for as many children as possible. As such, they worked extremely hard on preparing routes and working with the many different schools and schedules.
Due to many variables, not all private schools will be having busing this year and not all bus cards have been mailed out yet to parents. However, if you have been told your child’s school has busing rest assured that it does.
After seeing all the hard work put into this endeavor, please be patient as all the kinks and issues are being worked out as the school year gets underway. Have patience and understanding that this major undertaking will have bumps along the way. However, bombarding the township with phone calls, emails etc will not help the matter. Please work with your school’s transportation administrators etc. so that there can be clear lines of communication between the schools and the Jackson transportation department, with little to no misunderstandings.
Please also keep in mind the long-term future of busing and budget needs of the town. Although this year your child may not have busing or the bus stop may not be perfectly ideal, it is a work in progress that will god-willing have much success.

This letter is ridiculous. There is no communication. The parents have right to know what is going on!
