Jackson Police Arrest Suspect in Violent Stabbing

Jackson Police have announced a significant development in the investigation of a violent stabbing that occurred late on November 27th at the Paragon Apartments.

According to officials, the suspect — Jaden Thompson, wanted on a charge of 1st-degree attempted murder — has been located and taken into custody. Authorities thanked the public for assisting in efforts to track him down.

The incident unfolded around 11:36 PM at 1020 Larsen Road, where officers responded to reports of a woman stabbed in the abdomen. Responders found the victim critically injured, with a family member identifying Thompson as the assailant.

While officers administered emergency care, additional units searched the apartment complex and surrounding area. Thompson had fled moments earlier in a black 2012 Nissan Altima with New Jersey plates SUV51A.

A public alert was issued as investigators worked to locate the suspect. Police now confirm that Thompson has been apprehended. The investigation remains active and ongoing.

he should be the one in the hopital, and she should have been questioned byu the police to establish that he presented a danger clear enough to warrant a firearm discharge.
