The Jackson Township Planning Board has approved plans for an expanded community Shul in the Brookwood 4 section of the township.
The planned expansion, which will be located at 1231 Aldrich Road and East Concord Concourse, received unanimous approval and faced no objections from members of the public.
According to the plans voted on at the hearing, the new structure will add an additional 4,400 square feet to the existing 3,000 square footage facility.
The plans also call for a Simcha hall, Mikvah and a 50-space parking lot.
This latest Shul approval follows several others in recent months across the Township which were made possible due to the new ordinances adopted earlier this year by the Jackson Township council as a result of the settlement with Agudath Israel and the U.S. Department of Justice.
i hope its not a weekday hall, as you cant make a hall with only 50 spots, pushit not right for the neighbor’s (or the guests)
50 spots is definitely not enough for a large shul
