Jackson Mayor Seeking Residents to Serve Community

The Jackson Mayor, along with the Township Council, strongly urge any resident who wishes to volunteer to serve on an advisory Board or Commission to submit a Citizen Leadership Form which can be found on their website at www.jacksontwpnj.net, under the Forms, Licenses and Permits section.

Please complete the entire application and attach a resume, if you have one. If you have questions regarding these Boards or Commissions, please feel free to contact the Mayor’s office by phone, 732-928-1200 ext 1211 or email at [email protected]. All requests for consideration should be received by December 20, 2024.

The following advisory boards and committees currently exist: Veterans Commission, Rent Leveling Board, Planning Board, Zoning Board, Economic Development Commission, Citizens Budget Advisory Committee, Emergency Medical Services Advisory Board, Pathfinders, Environmental Commission, Historical Commission, Multicultural Committee, Open Space Advisory Committee and the Shade Tree Commission.

  1. that’s what Lakewood needs, good intelligent and caring people with the tziburs needs in mind to get involved. for too long now, the needs of the general tzibur has been neglected, regarding traffic, irresponsible development and financial waste, causing our taxes to keep going up-hence the very expensive not used exercise equipment by the lake, that no one asked for
