Jackson Man to Remain Jailed Pending Trial in Murder Case

Ocean County Prosecutor Bradley D. Billhimer announced that on Shaquille Green, 29, of Jackson Township, consented to remain detained in the Ocean County Jail while awaiting trial.

Green is charged with Murder, Possession of a Weapon for an Unlawful Purpose, and Unlawful Possession of a Weapon in connection with the September 6, 2025 death of 28-year-old Toraya Reid, also of Jackson.

The detention order was entered before the Honorable Wendel E. Daniels, J.S.C.
