Wishing you much success , looking forward to trying it out …
Will there be carts for the handicapped or not?
I am hoping to be able to taste the food like Costco…..
I happened to be in that plaza today so I stopped in. I have to say they are doing this right. The place is beautiful and well stocked. There were a ton of shoppers and even more employees- who were all extremely helpful. When I asked for help in finding an item the guy walked me around the store until we found it instead of just directing me to the correct aisle. The checkers bagged my groceries and loaded my cart as I was busy with my kids. They bagged smartly, too, putting like with like and just the right amount of items in each bag. Wishing the new & old stores alike plenty of hatzlacha.
Do they deliver?
I was there today…WOW!!! This place is really something else!
The fish store is Fish on River and the person serving me was just so happy and excited about the products that I just ordered away..
Wonderful shopping experience…….
The fish stand is beautiful I hope it tastes the way it looks I never knew that there is so many different kosher fish
Mr Carmal from the fish dept is amazing. Such a a sweet fellow & so knowledgeable about all fish.
We don’t cut ribbons. We have mezuzah klappings. Why take ceremonies from strange places?
Keep up the good work. Competition is the American way. Finally Lakewood will have better prices. We have been overpaying much to long.
who said they have better prices?
We are all so excited to finally get the BROOKLYN Shopping experience here in LAKEWOOD, where the store managers care for customer service and satisfaction, and are willing to help them out.
Yes, check it out they have great prices, service,
YOU WILL HAVE A GREAT SHOPPING EXPERIENCE!!
I can see the oilam is excited about the new store, thats fine and good. To take this opportunity to bash our existing stores, however, is, I think, out of place and I must be moiche. My wife shops at Kosher Village. R’ Binyomin HaTzaddik, the manager there, is fantastic. My wife fills up her wagon, getting help if she needs it, then wheels her (too) full wagon to the front, leaves a check with approx amount, waves good by and walks out. They know who she is and they bag it & charge her account if theres a balance. 20 min later its on my kitchen counter. Not on the floor – on the counter. Its the same with Farm Fresh and Kosher West. The service at these stores is fantastic. As far as prices, I have this strange feeling GG will not be much cheaper, if at all, than the existing guys. Hatzlocha Rabbah to all.
if competition will cause all Lakewood families to be able to save on groceries, that is a zechus!
Yossel well said. Very Big zechus, there are alot of large families that are in debt because of the price of groceries. The average family is overpaying $6.000.00 a year over the Brooklyn stores.
#14-A $6,000 difference sounds a little extreme. I hope you are verified your numbers very carefully before posting them for all to see
It would be very helpful if hours open would be till 12 or 1 A.M. enabling people to shop there after night seder
The consumers have to show some loyalty too
Not just shop all sale items in every store…
But regardless, Whoever can really lower prices & increase service will help the public!
best of luck
