  1. In physical terms, the Rabbonim are right to place people who do not follow this guideline and others a Rodef. Interesting that over two weeks ago R’Benvenisti wrote here that “Hashem provides the cure before the illness”. Chloroquine. I believe he was the first to write about that. A few hours later Laura Ingraham announced this “game changer” on her show at 11PM. Three days after that Trump announced his pushing the FDA to approve for COVID-19 while bureaucrat Dr. Fauci pushed back. The frum Dr, Zelensky from Kiryas Yoel had posted videos speaking of his success with this treatment here and sent them to the President. Numerous doctors are now prescribing it as a prophylactic and a cure. But there is a problem. Before that gets widely prescribed we will still have this great mageifa and be responsible for tremendous sakanos, pikuach nefesh and chesed.

We cannot ignore the huge spiritual problem, an even greater Nisayon which cannot be solved by a few pills. Do we follow the directives of our leaders or do we decide which Mitzvah is now an Aveirah and which Aveirah is a Mitzvah. Are we going to add a plague on our Neshamas and have the Shechina flee us, Chas V’Shalom?

  2. @AD: it’s video of dominoes falling, each with a little person on the screen, and finally one larger space between the dominoes, so that when it falls none of the ones after it does. It says social distancing is important.
