The IRS has good news for you. No, it’s not a long-lost refund, but you will have an extra three days to file your tax returns this year. “Taxpayers will have until Monday, April 18, to file their 2010 tax returns and pay any tax due because Emancipation Day, a holiday observed in the District of Columbia, falls this year on Friday, April 15,” said IRS spokesman Gregg Semanick, who works out of the agency’s office in Mountainside.
