  1. Please have the lights revert back to stop signs in the night hours. At least now at night I can drive around town at a normal pace.

  2. I want to thank the officers who put out cones yesterday morning to make another lane for all those waiting to turn from avenue of the states to Cedarbridge!!!! your work and dedication to Lakewood is very much appreciated!!

  3. To Yosef- for those who live in Forest Park or need to drive on Marc Dr, a light by MLK will be terrible! At least now once every few cars along Pine lets one or two cars in from those streets as the Pine traffic moves slowly but steadily toward the stop sign. With a traffic light all the traffic on Pine will not want to miss the green light so no one will be likely to let cars out of those streets onto Pine.

  4. Aww. I’ll miss the rush of adrenaline as I closed my eyes and accelerated out of Avenue of the States onto 4-lane-Cedarbridge-HIGHWAY praying I survived the left turn. Frogger 2.0

Thanks Ocean County! Long time comin’! Very much needed!

  5. To Truth
When there will be a light on MLK & Pine they can put large XXX’S in a square in front of Forest Park and in front of Marc Dr. so that the cars that are stopped on Pine can let you all squeeze onto Pine

  6. Bobbyc my dear, great suggestion. However, that will only allow one car per red light to squeeze into the box assuming people don’t block the box. Traffic will still back up in Forest Park.

  7. Did you ever think that with a traffic light instead of a 3-way stop sign there won’t be such a backup and the carsecond will have plenty of space to turn left

  8. Even if there’s no backup it will either be stopped cars at the light that won’t let forest park pple out or pple turning from Martin Luther onto pine when they have the green light. Basically forest park will habe it the worst.

  9. MLK and pine. A traffic light is necessary for this intersection. Every morning traffic is backed up all the way to route 9 for those going east on pine. Not to mention the traffic build up on mlk drive. It’s the worst intersection in town. It’s true a light won’t be good for forest park residents, easy solution, make it a right turn only and no left turn on pine for those coming out forest park. Many streets are like that in town.

  10. hey Mr Fowles,
you already have a traffic light at Williams and prospect!!
typical complainers don’t even know what they have!!
    complain complain complain.

  11. if they would open up arlington ave onto pine then not everyone will be forced to go further down pine torridly MLK drive. Open the stupid 4o feet of dirt , pave it and cheap easy fix. Im sure arlington guys wont be happy buts its a street that is already paved from pine all way down to cedar bridge its a no brainer and will cost maybe $100,000 to do which is a joke

  12. how about a left turn signal at cedarbridge and clover(east bound) that traffic backs up badly too.One day i was 25 cars deep turning to make a left turn. Also people do not do the speed limit on cedarbridge at all. Time for radar.
