The Township will be holding it’s annual Independence Day festivities tomorrow with a musical concert and fireworks show. The musical concert will begin at 7PM at the amphitheatre, followed by the fireworks show at approximately 9PM on Lake Carasaljo.
See video of last year’s event here.
(Please note: The musical concert may not be appropriate for the Frum community).
For those attending this event, keep in mind that people do live on the blocks that get packed with cars. Please do not block or park in front of driveways.
Also, the law states that you are not to park within 50 feet of a STOP sign. Some of us may have vacation, but the law never does. There’s a reason this law exists. Parking too close to a corner greatly reduces visibility for other drivers.
May we all have a happy, and safe holiday!
Bring on the works
If you are attending the fire works, remember to wear ear plugs and especially protect young children from harming their delicate ears from the explosive noises
What’s the point? Lakewood is the only town to have July 3rd Fireworks to celebrate July 4th…every other town seems to find the money… its an insult and a disgrace…
#4 – what are you smokin?? Plenty of towns do it on a day other than July 4th. i live in Manchester (I work in Lakewood) and they did it on Sunday. The last I checked, Sunday was July 1st!
Do your homework before you start bashing………..
Homework? Your mentioning July 1st whats your point?
