VIDEO PREVIEW: Aharon Granot, a Frum Journalist for Mishpacha Magazine, was recently featured on Israeli TV along with two other Journalists who traveled to Iraq to tour the Jewish quarters. During his tour, Granot – who travels around the world – found many hidden Kevarim as well as other rarely visited places, all which was videoed by another Journalist.
TLS has learned that Granot will be making his way to Lakewood later this month in an effort to raise money for the ‘Ayelet Hashachar’ Kiruv organization through the showing of his adventurous films, to schools and other audiences.
The film will also be shown one evening for the rest of the community, at no charge. Donations for the Kiruv organization, are welcomed.
Besides his professionally produced film, Granot will talk about his visits to Gaza, Jericho and Ramaala as the guest of the Palestinian Authority and his meeting with the Hamas Commander in Gaza, the incredible story of the conversion of an Indian Doctor who played a key role in assisting the sick and wounded and he took them upon himself to guard the bodies of the Jews killed in the aftermath of the Mumbai terrorist
attack, and other stories.
His most recent film, titled, “In The Heart Of Iraq”, was filmed by Journalist Menachem Spier.
Schools who wish to have Granot give the presentation at their school, can contact 732-987-7704, or email [email protected]. TLS.

It’s more dangerous for Jews in the southern part of Iraq, they only went to the northern part, which is the Kurdish state. The Kurds are much friendlier to Israelis (and Americans). Many Kurds were killed under Saddam Hussein.
