This week’s special coloring page for kids, part of our 5 week kids safety coloring contest has an important personal safety message.
What should you do if someone tells you to keep a secret from your parents? Or someone gives you a special gift and tells you to keep it a secret? Do your children know what to do? Featured in the center of the magazine section of the Yated Ne’eman (contest rules appear on page 4) the contest is sponsored by the Barry and Harriet Ray Child Safety Awareness Campaign of the Center for Jewish Family Life.
These 5 safety messages, developed to empower our children to keep themselves safe, are adapted from “Let’s Stay Safe!” (an ArtScroll/Mesorah publication). All children ages 3 – 8 who color all 5 safety pictures will receive a certificate for a free safety teddy bear!
